- Always ready in my driving compartment. These cut anything.
- Used a thousand times, I got mine circa 2000.

MSR Reactor Water boiler
- A favourite for over a decade, like a Jetboil but better made and faster.
- I got mine in 2012. I use it almost every time I'm camping. It's because of this that my cook gear is combo electric and gas.

- This is what I am currently uprading to for shooting in my car while driving because the Pocket-2 works so well.
- Also good for camp time-lapses during daylight.
Sony A7SIII full-frame camera
- This is my primary creative camera.
- Its image quality and tonality is wonderful, while its low light ability is beyond belief. I can shoot video at ISO 12800 with little grain and noise. Which means I can shoot well after the sun has gone down, extending my shooting day. I could go on and on . . .
Sony 100-400 telephoto zoom lens
- My primary long focus lens.
- The best of my Africa wildlife scenes are shot using this lens.
Sony 24-40 F2.8 standard zoom lens
- My primary go-to, good for almost everything zoom lens.
- I use this lens more than any other. Tonality is superb.
Sony Zeiss Sonnar T FE 55mm lens
- I use this mostly in my studio. Its a wonderful portraiture lens, sharp as a tack, fast and a lovely image.
SONY FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS lens
- I use this for macro images when on the trail. Light fast and very sharp.
Sony E-Mount FE 24mm F1.4 GM
- When I'm looking for the ultimate in image quality in a wide angle, I reach for this.
- Sharpness, tonal quality and bokeh are unequalled.
DJI Osmo Pocket 2
- I use this in car-shooting while driving. Its permanently mounted and triggered using the handle and radio mic. (available separately or as a combo) Means I don't take my eyes of the road to turn it on and off.
